What app do I need to monitor my system?

To monitor a Solis solar system you need an app called Solis Cloud. This can be downloaded from an app store.

You don’t have to download and use the monitoring app on a mobile device. You can monitor your system via a web browser. Once your system is setup you can login to the Solis Cloud website through a web browser using your login and password credentials.

My inverter is indicating alarms

Alarm codes will sometimes appear. These are notifications and do not necessarily mean there is a significant problem with your system. Notifications/alarm codes will often resolve themselves. These notifications are also sent to the manufacturers who will often apply fixes to optimise how your system is performing.

Most notifications are automatically resolved or can be self-managed.

My system/battery has unexpectedly gone off

There are various reasons why a system/battery may switch off.

  1. Firstly, check that none of the black or red isolator switches have been switched off. If one or more has, simply switch them back on.
  2. Next, check that none of the trip switches have activated and closed a circuit. Depending on your setup, you may have a trip switch near/in your consumer unit, near your inverter and/or between the inverter and the battery/batteries. If one has closed, switch it back to the on position.
  3. Check you have not had a power outage.
  4. Check the settings have not been incorrectly adjusted in the solis cloud.
